| The Spotter’s Optical Platform was developed as a way to integrate existing and new optical and electro-optical systems in new ways to meet demanding mission requirements. With the SOP-LW, a standard spotting scope can be combined with other EO devices to give it new capability to see, acquire, target and record images on the battlefield 24/7. By combining already fielded EO systems with the SOP platform and accessories, the user can greatly increase the number and types of missions the systems can now perform. Maximum effort has been made to make the platform compatible with a huge array of fielded optics, laser systems and other optical and EO sensors. |
