MICRO RECONNNAISANCE SURVEILLANCE &
TARGET ACQUISITION KIT
(RSTA KIT)

Morovision Night Vision’s Micro Reconnaissance Surveillance and Target Acquisition (RSTA) kit is designed to give users the ability to find and record quality images of key battlefield scenes. It can record enemy personnel, battle damage, key terrain, key intelligence data, forensic evidence of actions, etc. There are two basic kit configurations, an “on
the move” kit and a “hide position” kit. Either kit can be supplemented with an extensive array of optional equipment.

The RSTA kit features an incredibly small and lightweight 14MP camera sensor with advanced features, rugged connections to join camera with PVS- 14 and afocal magnifiers. Afocal lenses can be employed with and without a PVS-14. The rail provides more room for complimentary devices such as DVRs and IR illuminators. The RSTA kit also gives new roles to previously fielded optical/EO systems. It is a small, lightweight and inexpensive platform to create new capabilities. The shoulder stock is available in different colors, including Desert Tan (shown) Olive Drab and Black.

The MONOCAM™ adapter enables the coupling of the PVS-14 monocular to the camera for night vision photography and recording capability. The MONOCAM™ also enables the use of the 3x and 5x afocal lenses with the camera in the
daytime to add to the practical range of the system. Additional bushings for the MONOCAM™ adapter enable coupling the camera and or PVS-14 to a host of optics.

The lightweight shoulder stock, uniquely equipped by Morovision with MIL STD 1913 rails, allows the rapid and accurate
reconfiguring of the system “on the fly” by the operator as conditions change. Each component can be attached by use of“throw lever” attachments devices. This allows use of fielded weapon accessories on the Micro RSTA system to further
enhance capabilities and ergonomics. Fielded weapon accessories compatible with the Micro RSTA include, but are not
limited to:

o Laser pointer illuminators such as AN/PEQ-15, ATPIAL and equivalents
o STORM and other weapon mounted laser range finders
o Weapon bipods-create a tripod using the adjustable stock
o Foregrips with and without bipods
o Weapon sights of all kinds
o Clip-on thermal and image intensified systems.
o All thermal and image intensified weapon sights
o MHRS digital video recorder
o Spotting scopes
