What is a Spot Spec Tube?
When the night vision image tubes are manufactured, spots on the inside of the tube are a residual part of the manufacturing process. No image tube is identical to another. The spots are only cosmetic and do not effect the performance of the night vision device. The spot spec special features an image tube that has only a few more spots than are allowed to be considered a commercial grade image tube. |
