Pegasus K9 is an extremely rugged and low cost Infrared beacon specifically designed as a Combat Identification marker for military and police working dogs.
The Pegasus K9 Beacons have both visible and infrared (IR) modes allowing handlers and operators to track K9’s visually during training or rescue operations or with night vision during battlefield exercises where light discipline is required. |

The Pegasus K9 (MVB-902113) provides two signal modes. The beacon can broadcast in a Visible Red or IR mode. In its IR mode, this model of the K9 beacon has been engineered to emit an IR and dimmed visual signal to conceal the K9, but still allow visual tracking of the dog without Night Vision. This model is recommended for patrol law enforcement use where light discipline is not as critical and the working dog is being tracked from rotary aircraft . The operator can easily switch between modes and Off via the beacons water tight push button switch.
Pegasus K9 (MVB-902219) provides a single signal mode. The operator can easily switch between ON and Off via the beacons water tight push button. This model is available in Visible Red (pictured above) or Night Vision Green Training model or IR model (pictured above). The IR model broadcasts a signal that cannot be seen without Night Vision and is recommended for use by military and SWAT.
The Pegasus K9 is easily attached to the dogs harness using the beacons attachment points.
