OTAL (Offset Tactical Aiming Laser) High Power Infrared Focusable Laser/Illuminator (835nM) (35mW) and Knurled Thumb Screw Mount. Rugged, compact and fully waterproof, the OTAL series of aiming lasers is used by military and law enforcement agencies worldwide. OTAL's mount behind the front sight on M-16 or M-4 style rifles and the laser is offset to project around the front sight. Original models can be equipped with either a visible Super Power Point laser or an infrared laser for use with night vision devices. The NEW high power models, OTAL-HP include a focusing ring located on the front of the housing which allows the operator to focus or defocus the infrared laser depending on mission requirements. When focused, the beam provides pin-point aiming and pointing. When defocused, the beam spreads to provide supplemental illumination for use with night vision devices. Additional features include an electronic double tap switch which enables users to operate the laser in a momentary or continuous ON mode. Only available to Law Enforcement and Military Agencies.
