GG&G Aimpoint 3x adapter plate

GG&G is known for making Aimpoint Bases that improve accuracy and functionality. In 2006, Aimpoint introduced a 3x magnifier that can be used in conjunction with all Aimpoint scopes for long range aiming. When coupled with the GG&G Quick Detach 3x Adapter and QD Multi-Flex Mount it can be removed in seconds for CQB situations or installation of the ITT PVS-14 Night Vision Monocular for night targeting. The GG&G Quick Detach Multi-Flex System also allows the Aimpoint 3x to be used affectively behind the EOTECH Holosight as shown in the photographs below. When not weapons mounted this new 3x magnifier can also be used as a hand held observation device. The magnifier does not have a reticle of its own but uses the red dot or reticle in the Aimpoint or EOTECH as the aiming reticle. This eliminates the need to re-zero when shifting from non-magnified to magnified use or vice versa.
