Sacrificial Window
(ITTA-A3144264) The sacrificial window is quite useful when using night vision in an environment which has a high amount of dust, dirt and debris in the air, such as in high winds or storm conditions. The sacrificial window can later be discarded and/or replaced, preserving the condition of the optics themselves.
