The PhantomIR by ELCAN is a rugged lightweight infrared Bio-ocular system that uses the latest in low power, compact, uncooled thermal technology. Unlike image intensification night vision devices that only magnify existing light, thermal imaging cust through darkness, through smoke, dust and most fogs. It cannot be defeated by artificial light or adverse visible conditions. Despite it's advanced technology, PhantomIR is surprisingly affordable for small or large-scale deployment. Incorporating user-selectable reticles (Mil-Dot, Crosshair, or No Reticle), an internal digital magnetic compass (when properly calibrated is accurate within +/- 3 degrees), a 2x-4x zoom function and video-out (SMPTE or NTSC Compatible) capability, the PhantomIR is a powerful tool for military, police, and security professionals.
