Morovision Night Vision Introduces
the ITT NEPVS-14NH Kit


LAGUNA HILLS, CA - August 2011 - Morovision Night Vision, Inc., a leading supplier of U.S. manufactured night vision equipment since 1991, officially introduces the ITT Night Enforcer® PVS‐14NH Kit to the law enforcement market.

Since the PVS‐14 first entered the law enforcement market back in the early 1990’s, it has always come with a set list of standard accessories that were originally requested by the U.S Military. The most dispensable of the standard accessories has always been the head mount. The head mount provides an option for hands‐free night vision operations, however customer feedback over the years has verified that no one ever uses it. Or if they do use it, they never put it on again. Let’s face it. It not only looks funny, but it’s also uncomfortable to wear. That is why it is also called the “Skull Crusher”.

For hands‐free night time operations, the vast majority of PVS‐14 users mount it on their helmet. If they don’t helmet mount it, then they mount it on a weapon, hand hold it, or adapt it to a camera or camcorder in some fashion. What they don’t do, is head‐mount it, and that’s why we created the ITT NEPVS‐14NH Kit.

In reviewing the traditional PVS‐14 kit and the standard accessories, we also noticed that the system soft carry case could be significantly improved ‐ more functional and utilitarian. The existing bag was really only useful in terms of storage, but not useful out in the field. So we decided to create a new system soft case we call the Morovision Tactical Bag. The Morovision Tactical Bag has Molle‐Lok straps on the back, more compartments inside of it, and a padded outer lining to protect it from drops and other heavy use.

The ITT NEPVS‐14NH Kit is a “makes sense” upgrade ( NH stands for “No Head mount” ) to the traditional PVS‐14 system kit. By removing the head mount and replacing the old system soft case with the Morovision Tactical Bag, we were still able to drop the retail price of the ITT NEPVS‐14 monocular by approximately $200.00.

The new Morovision Tactical Bag is available in three different colors: multi‐cam, black and coyote tan. It can be purchased separately.
