Thermal-Eye™ 4000M

The Thermal-Eye™ 4000M is a state-of-the-art thermal imaging camera designed specifically for night time marine applications. This rugged camera was designed to withstand the typical shock and vibration associated with marine applications and is weatherized to resist salt corrosion. With a pan and tilt-positioning platform operated by a joystick controller, the user is able to observe or search for boats and / or stray objects in the water by maneuvering and pointing the camera in the necessary direction. The Thermal-Eye™ 4000M is sealed and saltwater-proof and comes standard with NTSC or PAL compatible video output.

The Thermal-Eye 4000M pans horizontally on top the mounting ring and rotates or tilts vertically inside the housing unit where the lens is. It has a motorized lid that rotates up from below to cover the lens and protect it from elements when not in use.

The 4000M closes to help protect the lens and system from high wind debris and deteriorating sun exposure. It is water & shock resistant at EC level IPX6, but not submersible. It can take "heavy spray" such as bad weather conditions in a storm.
