Thermal-Eye™ TSCss THERMAL security CAMERA
Thermal-Eye™ TSCss Thermal Camera.
The Thermal-Eye™ TSCss (Standard Series) is designed to fit into existing closed circuit television architecture as a drop in substitute or enhancement. Using a 25mm lens, the plug-and-play Thermal-Eye™ TSCss offers the advantage of thermal imaging without the need for additional lighting. The compact, low cost camera uses the latest thermal imaging technology, offering its users the ability to see through the dark of night in all weather situations without the need for obtrusive lighting or image intensifiers. The Thermal-Eye™ TSCss is the solution to securing and monitoring your perimeter. The TSCss model fits into almost any standard enclosure. It is most commonly used with Pelco enclosures (see below).

Thermal Camera Enclosures
Thermal cameras require enclosures in order to operate in extreme weather conditions i.e. cold and/or hot. Thermal cameras typically operate best in moderate temperatures, so depending on your application and environment, an inside heater and/or defroster may be required. Some enclosures additionally have vent grills and insulation. For more information on Pelco Enclosures visit the website. |

TSCss Characteristics.
Prevent the unthinkable. The risk
of theft, terrorism, and crime is an increasing concern,
so corporations and government agencies require complete
confidence that sites are fully secured, both day
and night. That’s why valuable assets, employees
and information are now being protected using the
most advanced surveillance technology available today–thermal
imaging. |
Window Kits
When the Standard Series Thermal-Eye TSCss Camera is used in an enclosure (like the Pelco 2500), a special infrared transmitting window must be purchased to replace the existing window. Thermal technology does not see through "glass". To be enclosed, the thermal camera window section must be made of silicon or germanium. See our Window Kits for more information. |

| Notes: |
| 1. For outdoor use, the TSCss is assumed to be installed in a Pelco enclosure, model EH4718-2, with heater, defroster, blower, and sun shroud options, and with the vent covers installed, or equivalent NEMA 4 rated enclosure. |
| 2. When used in an enclosure, an infrared-transmitting window must be installed. Infrared conversion kits are available for the following Pelco enclosure products: Pelco Series 2500, Pelco Series 3500, and Pelco Series 4700. |
| 3. For outdoor use, a UL approved protective enclosure with NEMA 4 rating must be used. |
4. Other video formats also available |
5. Universal Series Enclosure window comes as a kit designed to fit the intended enclosure after being sized by the installer. The silicon or germanium window is the bonded into the frame using the provided bonding material and instructions, to ensure proper fit and function. |
